It's called the Siesta Key Project, and it's one of many related projects designed to raise awareness about the plight of captive Lego people everywhere. Just because we're 1 1/2 inches tall and made of plastic doesn't mean we don't have a BIG desire to get out there and see the world!
The Ministry of Minifigure Travel and Tourism urges you to free your Lego minifigures today and let them have a much-needed vacation. Remember: if you love your Legos, set them free. If they come back to you, they're yours. If they don't, they're probably enjoying the weather on a white sand beach somewhere, so don't take it too personally.
