Today I've been visiting a family in Ogden, Utah.
And look, they have a Lego Advent calendar! I decided I'd introduce myself to all the other Lego people.
Santa gave me a ride on the Christmas train.
I got to trim the tree, and met a friendly girl and her cat (who looks a lot like mine).
The guy running around with the bath brush is Santa's brother, Aloysius Claus. He's a little weird, but harmless.
Oh, and the dog's name is Sherlock Bones. It would take too long to explain why.

Where do I want to go today?
Actually, I'm kind of hungry.
So we went to have lunch at this place...
which is the birthplace of fry sauce, whatever that is.
Workers scurried around behind the counter, filling orders.
They had a humongous soda fountain. I think I want some root beer.
We got pastrami burgers, big drinks, and fries for the fry sauce.
What's in this stuff, anyway?
That is a lot of fry sauce. I guess it must be pretty good.
I just had one taste.
Then I had another taste.
Then I threw all caution to the wind. OM NOM NOM.
Afterward I had to drink some soda to wash the fry sauce off.
This is my new sleeping bag.
Fry sauce. Me likey.
Now I have to go home and take a bath.

Smorgawhat?
My hostess the teacher has family living in Provo, which is a town south of Salt Lake City. Every year they host a delicious Swedish buffet called a Smor-- uh... a Smurges... a Smyrgabyr... um... Well, you figure it out.
Whatever it's called, I was invited to come and eat with them.
Look at all these delicious dishes!
And that doesn't even take the hot food into account.
Or the potatoes.
Or the many delectable cheeses.
And let's not forget the strange-looking but yummy fruit soup for dessert.
Whoops. Little help here?
No more fruit soup for me, thanks. *urp*
There's just too much to choose from. I'm going to lie down here in the Chex Mix for a while.
There was also a rumor going around that the real Santa was somewhere at this party, so I decided to take a look around and see if I could find him.
I started out looking around Snow Village.
I asked some local residents where they thought I might find Santa, and they suggested looking on the top of the Noel Building.
"No, son, I'm just a helper."
I kept looking.
There was no real Santa in the Christmas tree. (Great view, though.)
He wasn't in the Christmas stockings.
He also wasn't in the candy jar. (Hey, lemme outta here!)
"Excuse me, sir, are you the real Santa?"
"Sorry, kid, I'm just hanging around."
I don't think this guy was the real Santa, but I told him I wanted a Red Ryder BB gun just to cover the bases.
Look! This has to be the real Santa!
He sent me over to take a closer look at the coffee table.
Look, it's the true meaning of Christmas.
Plus I got to ride a sheep, which wasn't half bad.
Thanks to my new friends for inviting me to partake of their unpronounceable deliciousness! I'll come back again soon and have more of it, just as soon as I figure out how to say what it's called.

Adventures in Room 217
So, here I am in Salt Lake City, Utah.
My hostess is a teacher.
So I went to visit her classroom.
I got to wander around on her desk for a while. Nice clock!
I also messed around with the dry-erase board...
and scaled some Christmas lights like a military commando. G.I. JOOOOOE!
Since it was the last school day before Christmas...
lots of the kids in this class had brought gifts for their teacher.
They had also brought quite a few gifts for each other. Hey, how come there isn't one for me in here?
I was worried I'd have to sit in a chair all day long and learn how to find the surface area of a cylinder or something else dire.
Instead, I got to learn how to play jacks.
I helped make a gingerbread house.
Then I knocked on the door of the gingerbread house.
Then I met Lego Sharkman, who apparently owns the gingerbread house. I taught him the secret Lego handshake.
Sharkman has a sweet ride.
He also has a candy Jacuzzi installed out back.
Having messed around enough inside for a while, I went out to see what is known as The Greatest Snow on Earth.
It was so astonishing I fell over.
It was also very cold. I thought about making a snow angel.
But then the snow started getting the better of me and I was almost covered up.
Hey, buddy, watch where you're steppin' there!
My new friends fished me out of the snow and let me climb the rock wall.
That went so well I thought I'd go down the slide.
WheeeeeEEAAAAAUUGGGHH!
I didn't go down the slide again.
I tried the monkey bars next.
But I swung a little too hard and ended up stuck in the chain link fence.
Next I tried tetherball.
It didn't work very well.
I just knew I'd do well at basketball!
Then I sunk a basket.
Uh. HEEEEEELLLLLLPPPPP!!!!
Well, even if I didn't do so well on the playground, I still had fun.
